Conflict transformation / Governance

International cooperation is increasingly implemented in partner countries affected by violent political and social conflicts. Working in contexts of conflict, fragility and violence requires an adapted approach to leading, planning, management, monitoring and evaluation. We offer the preparation and monitoring of regional, national and sectoral context analyses. In addition, we work with the “Peace and Conflict Assessment” toolbox, well-established in the field of German development cooperation to jointly identify measures for contributing towards peacebuilding, managing risks and avoiding unintended negative results (Do No Harm approach). Furthermore, we support programmes and projects in conflict-prone and fragile environments for the development of adjusted (context-sensitive) monitoring systems, carry out topic-related evaluations, and have been training technical advisors and executives as well as teams in this area of work for many years.
